Man Pulls Knife At Brother For Eating Too Many PB&J Sandwiches

A man from Iowa was arrested for pulling a knife and holding it in his brother’s face. The brothers, both 50 years old, fought over peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. The fight happened at their home in Des Moines, Iowa.

Jerome Davis pulled a knife on his brother after eating too many peanut butter and jelly sandwich.  Davis was angry at his brother because the latter believed he was eating too much. Davis made three sandwiches and ate them in their living room. He made another in less than an hour after. Davis consumed about six PB&J sandwiches in an hour.

Laziness and Overeating

According to police reports, the brothers started to argue about overeating and laziness. That’s when Davis pulled out a folding knife and held it in his brother’s face, threatening to cut him.

“Both victim and suspect began yelling about the other being lazy and ‘eating again’,” police claim.

Authorities charged Davis with domestic assault with a weapon.
